Privacy Notice for shareholders of Deutsche Bank AG Deutsche Bank would like to thank you for using our Shareholder Portal and for using our shareholder services. Protecting your personal data is one of our top priorities. As you know, the fact that we issue registered shares means that we are under a legal obligation to keep a share register. In the data protection information below, you can find out how we process your personal data if you make it available to us via our Shareholder Portal and the shareholder services offered on the portal (https://netvote.db.com) in connection with our Annual General Meeting/Interim Reports, or if you inform us of changes pertaining to your personal data that is stored in the share register of Deutsche Bank AG. You will also learn about your rights relating to the processing of your personal data.
1. Who does this privacy notice apply to?
The information below applies to the shareholders of Deutsche Bank AG who use the services offered on the Shareholder Portal.

3. What sources and data do we use?
The shares issued by Deutsche Bank AG are registered shares. In accordance with section 67 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG), registered shares have to be entered in the company’s share register along with the shareholder’s name, date of birth and address, as well as the number of shares. Shareholders are generally required to provide the company with this information.
The credit institutions involved in the purchase or safekeeping of your registered shares in Deutsche Bank AG regularly forward to us  information relevant  to the keeping  of the share register on your behalf (e.g. inter aliter your nationality and remitting bank). This information is forwarded via Clearstream Banking Frankfurt, which assumes responsibility for the technical clearing of securities transactions and the safekeeping of shares for the credit institutions in its capacity as the central securities depository. If you sell your shares, we will also be notified accordingly via Clearstream Banking Frankfurt. Our Shareholder Portal allows you to make use of the following services: 

Registering for the electronic delivery of the invitation to the Annual General Meeting;Registering for the Annual General Meeting;Ordering of admission tickets by mail or an e-ticket;Voting online;Issuing powers of attorney and instructions to proxies of Deutsche Bank AG;Updating your address data; andRegistering for delivery of e-mails upon publication of an Interim Report.
4. Why do we process your data (processing purpose) and on what legal basis?
We process your personal data in compliance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG) and all other relevant legal provisions, e.g. the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
In the course of using Deutsche Bank AG's Shareholder Portal for participating in the electronic delivery of the invitation to the Annual General Meeting, your data (including the access password you selected) is stored, processed and used exclusively for the following purposes: 

Registering for the electronic delivery of the invitation to the Annual General Meeting;Registering for the Annual General Meeting;Ordering of admission tickets by mail or an e-ticket;Voting online;Issuing powers of attorney and instructions to proxies of Deutsche Bank AG;Updating your address data; andRegistering for delivery of e-mails upon publication of an Interim Report.
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the German Stock Corporation Act in conjunction with Article 6 (1) b) GDPR. 
You commission us to provide these services (i.e. we use the data to fulfil contractual obligations (Article 6 (1) b) GDPR)).
If we intend to process your personal data for a purpose that is not mentioned above, we will involve you in line with the statutory provisions.
5. Who receives my data?
External service providers:
We use external service providers to administer and manage the technical aspects of the share register, as well as to handle our Annual General Meetings. Our partners are companies from the following categories and their sub-service providers which have been approved by us: service providers for the management of the share register, IT service providers and service providers responsible for preparing for, and executing, the Annual General Meeting. 
Other recipients:
We may also transfer your personal data to other recipients, such as authorities, in order to fulfil statutory notification requirements. If you attend the Annual General Meeting, other Deutsche Bank shareholders may see any data collected pertaining to you in the list of participants pursuant to section 129 AktG. Within Deutsche Bank AG, the individuals who are given access to your data are those individuals who require it to perform our duties vis-à-vis you. 
6. How do we transfer data to countries outside of Europe?
We do not intend to transfer your personal data to any third countries outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) or to any international organisations. We do not transfer personal data to service providers outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) in this respect.  
7. How long will your data be stored?
As a general rule, we delete your personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes set out above, unless it must be retained to meet statutory evidentiary and retention obligations (e.g. as set out in the German Stock Corporation Act, the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch), the German Tax Code (Abgabenordnung) or the German Banking Act (Kreditwesengesetz). Data collected in connection with Annual General Meetings is generally subject to a retention period of three years. We often have to retain data stored in the share register for another ten years after cancellation of the share registration. Otherwise, we only retain personal data in isolated cases in connection with claims asserted against our company, if required. Under section 195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch - BGB), these limitation periods may be up to 30 years, whereby the regular limitation period is three years.
8. What are your rights in terms of data protection?
You have the following rights in connection with the processing of your personal data:
Any data subjects have the right of access pursuant to Article 15 GDPR, the right to rectification pursuant to Article 16 GDPR, the right to deletion pursuant to Article 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR (this means that, while your data will still be stored, it can only be processed subject to certain restrictions (e.g. with your consent or to assert legal claims)), the right to object pursuant to Article 21 GDPR and the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20 GDPR. The right of access and right to deletion are subject to the restrictions under sections 34 and 35 BDSG. Data subjects also have a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR in conjunction with section 19 BDSG). 
You may revoke consent granted to us for the processing of your personal data at any time. This also applies to the revocation of declarations of consent that are granted prior to the GDPR entering into force, i.e., prior to 25 May 2018. Please note  that  revocation is only enforced with future effect. Any processing that took place  prior to  revocation is therefore not affected.
Pursuant to section 67 (6) sentence 1 AktG,  any shareholder  may request information from the company on his/her  data entered in the share register. In compliance  with Article 20 GDPR, you have the right to data portability pertaining to all data you provided us with. That means this data will be made available in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
9. Automated decision-making, including profiling
This service is not used to make any fully automated decisions in accordance with Article 22 GDPR. 
10. Do you want to exercise your right to lodge a complaint?
